Good week for the women

The world has two new leaders this week. Two impressive women. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, a first on the African continent. The new president of Liberia. One link with a good description of her political background is found at :

And then there is also Michelle Bachelet in Chile. Only the third woman to be elected in regular elections in Latin America. And from Salvador Allende's party. Her father died in prison under the 70's during the military dictatorship. The Swedish newspapers had a lot more about her than they did about Ellen.
